California lovin'

So I totally suck at this whole blogging thing. It's kind of ridiculous. And embarrassing. But JTyler tells me everyday, you should totally blog about this. Or this. Or this. Or this. I'm like okay. Sure, yeah, I should. and then I suck and never get around to it. 

 Anyways, I decided I would stop sucking so much, and start blogging about our UBER fun life. 

Early August we road tripped to California. Jammin' for 10 hours. Switching from my beloved Country music to his wonderful screamo.

dang, he is freaking sexy.

Since we drove through the night, husband being the amazing man he is let me drive first. So that I could actually sleep during the normal hours of rest, and he could drink a Full Throttle and rock out the rest of the drive. We finally arrived in the wee hours of the morning. I'm talking 2:00am. Exhausted beyond belief. cause even though husband is amazing, I didn't sleep much, for fear this darling man would fall asleep at the wheel.

ANYWAYS! We got lots of sleep, and then decided since it was 3487292340872 degrees outside, we'd layout and swim. As shown above, husband really needed a hair cut. We got that taken care of right away.

Laying out go extremely hot. And super boring. SO we decided to eat. At my favorite place in California. Wings and things. It's seriously the best. So so so yum!

The next couple days consisted of a LOT of traveling. We went to Grandma's to see grandpa. We helped get things organized and give mom and grandma a short break. They really needed it! that'sfooooosure. I mean after only a short time of helping out, we needed a break ourselves. See.

Okay, enough about this cuteness!
After spending a whole day at grandma's with grandpa (and that emotional rollercoaster.) We decided we'd go hangout in San Diego, so he could show me around his mission. That was a blast. But I suck and took like 0 pictures. Literally.

I did get pictures of our double date with mom and dad.

This was one of my favorite days, just hanging out with my favorite people. Mom and dad. And my husband. We went to my favorite resturant, Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ. And then to a movie, we saw The Bourne Legacy. It was okay! No one compares to Jason Bourne.

Ha, This was a much needed trip. Time to get away from 40-50 hour work weeks. And spend time together. We had some good laughs, good meals, and some really good time!

Sometimes road trips make you a little crooked.
