happy first anniversary!

February 17 was our first wedding anniversary!
Honestly, I can't believe how quickly this year has gone by.
It's crazy to think we've been married for a year.
Sometimes I really feel like it was two weeks ago.
I can remember what I was feeling that day like it was only a few hours ago.

Anyways, because of school, and life in general.
We weren't able to take a long weekend getaway like we hoped.
But we did really celebrate!

Since our anniversary was actually on a Sunday, we did some early celebrating. So Saturday morning
we went to Ikea. My all time favorite date place.
We got some more goods for the apartment. Then,
Saturday NIGHT we went to a really delicious restaurant called Bambara in Salt Lake City.
It was delicious. They wrote happy first anniversary on our menus! I wish I would have got a picture of all it's fanciness, but at least we got one of us, and our fanciness!

We celebrated after dinner with a delcious
Asphalt Pie. That's not pictured. Because it was
destroyed in literally .3 seconds.







Sunday morning husband let me sleep in.
Meanwhile he slaved away making me the most
delicious french toast breakfast in bed. EVER.

After some cuddles and relaxing.
We got ready for church!
We came home and husband told me to relax
while he made dinner. He already had it all planned.
And was making fresh marinara, and homemade
meatballs. It was all really delicious.
I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED!
All in all, husband spoiled the ba-jebbies outta me!
Monday we went and saw Safe Haven, enjoyed some kettle corn and 5 Guys Burgers. And returned home and got back to the grind. Studying. Studying. Studying.

People always say "the first year is the hardest." 

If this was our hardest year, man, life with J Tyler is going to be a piece of cake! 

I'm the luckiest!

my funny valentine!

I've never loved Valentine's Day like I did today!
My sweet husband made it so special.
He's the best,
These lovebirds have the privelage of celebrating
this lovers holiday and our wedding anniversary
within days of each other.
We planned that. & by we I mean ME.
Not really, but it works out great.
Now you only have to hear me brag once.

It's so crazy for me to look back a year ago,

I remember thinking I've waited my whole life for this.

But really, I waited my whole life for him.

I finally got my worthy priesthood holder.

The man that was going to take me to the temple.

The one person I was going to be able to count on.

Always&forever. Time&alleternity.

As I look back now on my life.

I can't remember it without you in it.

You complete me.

You are my better half.

You are my world.

And my reason.

I love you to the moon, around the sun and back.

5 times.

This year has been a long one.

And a short one.

And a hard one.

And a easy one.

It has been all the things I didn't think it could.

Good and bad.

In the middle of the crazy life and this crazy world.

There is me and him.

And nothing else matters.

My life with you has become my number one.

My biggest priority. 

Your happiness, is my happiness.
